Social Media Policy
We love to showcase our players and volunteers in action! You can view our social media policy here.
Codes of Conduct
Football is for everyone. We want to contribute to building a positive environment for all players, spectators, referees and volunteers.
Codes of Conduct for players, spectators, parents of junior players and team and club officials are available on the Football South Coast website.
Any breaches of these codes are taken seriously and can be raised in the first instance with our club via email secretary@rvjfc.com.au.
Disputes and grievances
We adhere to Football South Coast’s complaints and grievance guidelines and procedures. Find out more here.
Child safeguarding
The club is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where children can enjoy football with confidence. The safety and wellbeing of our players is central to everything we do, and we take our responsibilities under Football NSW, Football Australia and NSW child safety legislation seriously.
Safeguarding means creating a child‑safe culture where children are protected, respected and supported. Everyone involved in our club- committee members, coaches, managers, volunteers and parents/carers - share responsibility for putting child safety first.
The club complies with the NSW Child Safe Standards and the Working With Children Check requirements, which are mandatory for sporting clubs.
Any adult interacting with players in any capacity, including helping at training or games, must be registered with the club. All such individuals must also be registered in PlayFootball and hold a valid WWCC that is verified by the club before commencing any duties.
Inclusion and player support
The club is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming environment for all players, including those with disability or additional needs. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to discuss any inclusion, medical or wellbeing needs with their child’s coach, team manager and/or the club so appropriate support can be considered. Information provided about any disabilities through the club registration process is treated in strict confidence- it is your choice whether to disclose this information to your player’s coach or team manager.
