U13 div 1 Team Information

Team History – How the current team came together.

U6s Sam and Wilson actually played 2 years of U6’s, both started Football before they went to school. Wilson was actually 4 at the time he started, and has always played up a year!!!

U6s Saw the start of a few more of the team, Dean, Ryan, Sam Miranda. There were three teams playing 6v6 down by the swings.

U7s I think Matty D, and maybe Braeden (need to check) started

U8s had two teams formed playing 9v9

U9s The two teams from U8s combined into 1 with 12 players playing 9v9. Jasmin Wilson, now playing in the 13G’s, joined up a few weeks into the season.

This was the first year of competition on a full field. TK and Jacob arrived to help us scrape a team together. They were graded into division 3 in the u10s and after grading went through as Undefeated League Champions, unfortunately losing out in the Grand Final in a penalty shootout. Despite being 2 years younger than the age group Harrison Benn helped us out with numbers during the year and made appearences in the Finals and Grand Final.

Braeden came back after a couple of years off. Ruben arrived from Wollongong to join his schoolmates from St Columbs. Mark McGivern arrived from Canada in the off season and we were very lucky to meet up with him while a few of the boys were playing 7-a-side. They had an even better year in U11s taking out the division 2 League Champions and Grand Final Champions.

U12s was their first year in division 1. Jai joined from Bulli and Jack from Woonona. It was a challenge but the boys did exceptionally well to finish equal 4th. One of the highlights was the final game of the season where they played the eventual Champions, Figtree, who went through the season undefeated. The boys gave them a great shakeup and were unlucky to not get a win, the game finishing in a 1-1 draw.
