Small Sided Games and Roo Ball Information Day
Last year saw the introduction of Small Sided games, or SSGs for the Under 6 and 7 age groups. U9s will remain with the Roo Ball format and U10s will remain as competition sides. We have planned an information day for Saturday the 13th of March.
Registration Day a massive success!!!!
Thanks to everyone who turned up and registered for the 2010 season. Overall the two days were a success with a few surprises along the way. The biggest surprise has been in the ranks of the girls’ competition teams. It looks very promising that we’ll field two all-girl sides, one in U11 and one in the U13 comp. If you missed out on the registeration days and still intend to play with RVJFC in 2010 please don’t delay, phone or Registrar, Andrew 4285 4095 (after 5:30pm), or Garry on 42 851654 to arrange to get registered. It’s important that we get the numbers in now so we can make final decisions on how many teams to register. We still have vacancies in most age divisions.
Registration 2010
When: Saturday 6th Feb and Saturday 13th Feb 13, 2010 from 10:00am-2:00pm
Where: Russell Vale Community Hall, cnr Kerrong and Channon St, Russell Vale (click here for map)
How much: $50 for U6 and U7, $90 for U8 to U18 (family discounts available)
Who: Boys and girls 5 and up. Note to register in the U6 competition children need to turn 5 before 31st July.
What to bring: New regos need to bring a copy of a birth certificate or other ID. All children need to come to the hall so we can re-take everyone’s photos.
What you get: Shorts and socks for new registrations; Insurance; 18 weeks of Football; End of season trophy and Presentation Day activities.
What else: We will also have caps, Beanies, Drink Bottles, Socks and Shorts for sale.
